Grenada Turns 50

Who We Are

ABOUT

Independence Secretariat

The 50th Anniversary of Independence Celebration is led and executed by the National Organizing Committee (NOC) and the Independence Secretariat. Together, we are dedicated to making this milestone event an unforgettable part of Grenada’s history.

The NOC, responsible for designing and guiding the overall direction of the 50th celebration, sets the tone for our journey. The Secretariat, as the execution team, meticulously plans and executes a diverse range of initiatives and tasks that are integral to the anniversary celebration.

Our mandate is clear: to create a wide array of activities and celebratory initiatives that resonate with Grenadians across our islands and throughout the world, catering to diverse interests and demographics. Our overarching goal is to maintain the spirit of this momentous event at a high level, ensuring that it becomes an unforgettable chapter in Grenada’s history.

Join us on this exciting journey as we commemorate our nation’s heritage, celebrate our present, and pave the way for a brighter future. Together, let’s make Grenada’s 50th Independence Anniversary a historic and unforgettable moment in our nation’s history
